read one thing today

This is by far the best summation/obituary for Sidney Lumet I have read since his passing back on April 9th.  If you really want to understand how great he was, give this a read.  It is a bit film wonkish, but it's worth it -  I guarantee you'll come out with at least two or three (or more) movies to add to your Netflix queue.
